Getting Started

The Fatture in Cloud v2 API is a RESTful API that can be accessed through explicit HTTP clients or via the dedicated Client Libraries. The API exposes most of the features available in the Fatture in Cloud Web interface.

API vs SDK

If you need more information about what APIs and SDKs are, you can watch this video.

๐Ÿš€ย  How can I start?โ€‹

In this documentation, you will find three modalities you can use to start developing your Fatture in Cloud integration.

๐Ÿ‘ตย  The APIv2 Migration Guideโ€‹

If you started working with us a long time ago, using our old generation of APIs (e.g. the APIv1), you will most surely find the APIv2 Migration Guide useful. It is focused on describing the differences between the two versions of our APIs, including some useful links to the other resources when needed. The detailed description of the APIv2 is included in the other resources, so you will probably also need some of the following guides to complete your research.

๐Ÿ‘ฃย  The Step-by-step Guideโ€‹

The Step-by-step page is a guide that will tell you exactly what to do to be ready to develop in no time, including some tricky procedures such as the app configuration and the permission request. You can find most of the steps under the Basics category. If you don't know a lot about Fatture in Cloud, or you are uncertain about which option to select, then we strongly suggest you start from here!

๐Ÿƒย  The Quickstartsโ€‹

If you prefer actions over words, and you feel pretty confident about your knowledge of OAuth2 authentication then probably you would prefer to start developing immediately, following one of our Quickstarts. Even so, we don't assure you that you will never have to explore the Basics category! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The quickstarts are mostly based on our SDKs, so if you feel like slowing down a little and you want more detail, please check the dedicated pages! Additionally, we prepared some quickstarts based on technologies that our customers required us but won't (or can't) be supported by our SDKs and guides, such as Power Query. We hope this material will prove useful for a wider range of developers.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”งย  The Guidesโ€‹

If you want to focus on your specific use case from the first moment, you can check our Guides. Here we explained how to implement our customer's most common use cases, and yours could be already included there too! Please, notice that you will most probably need to start with one of the previous options to be ready to follow our guides because they are more focused on the final result rather than on helping you get started.

โ“ย  The FAQsโ€‹

In the FAQs section we collected the most common questions we received from the other developers. In most of the cases, this will be enough to help you overcome your issues!
