Activation
The first step to start building your integration is to activate the APIs on your own Company... just kidding!
The APIs are automatically enabled for all Fatture in Cloud users, so you don't need to take any action to activate them! The APIs are included in all of the Fatture in Cloud plans, even in our free Trial license.
🛑 Feature limitations
Even if our Public APIs are included in all the Fatture in Cloud plans, the available features may still vary. If a certain feature is not included in your current plan on the Fatture in Cloud website, it will also be unavailable through our APIs.
In this case, if you need a certain feature, you can always decide to upgrade to a higher plan that supports it! 😉
You can check the available plans and the functionalities included in each one of them here.
One additional limitation regards the Send E-Invoice method, used to send the documents to the SDI: this API method is available only for paid plans, so it will not be possible to use it with a Trial license. This also includes the Dry-Run flag option, so you will need a paid plan to be able to test it.
If you are creating an integration for third-party users, you can't know the plan they are using beforehand. In this case, if you need to know if a certain feature is enabled for a specific user, you can check the Fatture in Cloud plan using our APIs as explained here.
💼 Accountants
Our APIs currently don't support Accountant Mode. This means that if you're an accountant, you can't use your account to manage your clients' resources, but you'll need to require your customers to generate a valid token using their company and share it with you in some way.
The client will always be in control of his token, because he can always decide to revoke a specific token from the Applicazioni Collegate section of his Fatture in Cloud account.
